"Instead of receiving European solidarity, Bulgaria receives cynicism!” This is what Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev wrote in a Facebook post regarding the decision of the government of the Netherlands to block Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen area.

"Recently three Bulgarian policemen were killed protecting the external European border. Today, Netherlands' PM Mark Rutte unacceptably suggested that one could cross the border for 50 euro”, Rumen Radev wrote further.
