Bulgaria's Ministry of Agriculture launches traditional charity initiative for the purchase of live Christmas trees

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry will launch the traditional charity initiative for the purchase of live Christmas trees in the beginning of next week. The cause of this year's campaign is related to forest conservation. 

For every tree sold, 10 new saplings will be planted in forests managed by state forestry enterprises. Felled trees from tree nurseries will also be sold. The price of trees will vary between EUR 1.50 and EUR 20 depending on their height and type.
