Bulgaria supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine

Bulgaria categorically supports the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, caretaker Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov told his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence announced. Stoyanov is on a working visit to Kyiv at the invitation of the Ukrainian side.

Since the beginning of the Russian armed aggression, Bulgaria has provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine to the tune of 225 million euros. Bulgaria is to provide weapons, equipment and ammunition. Sofia will also contribute to the EU training mission - EUMAM. 
The participation of the Bulgarian military in weapons and equipment training for the Ukrainians, on the territory of EU member states or in Bulgaria, is also planned.
