Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Labor and Social Policy Lazar Lazarov announced that he would propose to the Council of Ministers that the minimum wage increases with 9.9% to EUR 398.81 from January 1, 2023. This is a 20% increase year-on-year, Minister Lazarov said. According to the original draft, the minimum wage should have become EUR 393.69.
