The caretaker government has to give careful consideration to how and with what arguments it will approach the renegotiation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, President Rumen Radev said. The Head of State addressed the participants in the round table on "Bulgarian Energy - Strategy 2023-2053", which was held today in Sofia.

The European Commission warned that renegotiation would be difficult. The prospects are many, but the finances are limited, Radev stressed and called for continuity between the governments in the development of the sector.

"We propose a strategic vision for the development of the energy sector until 2053. Without clear development goals, any government would be like a man in a dark room looking for the light switch," caretaker Prime Minister Gulub Donev said.
