According to local Bulgarians, a man with Bulgarian and Turkish citizenship, living in the city of Iskenderun, is missing after the building he lived in was destroyed by the earthquake. "This information is currently being checked and confirmation is awaited," Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev told BNT. According to him, there are currently no reports of other injured Bulgarians. Demerdzhiev pointed out that Bulgaria was one of the first European countries to provide aid of Turkey.
Ibrahim Yilmaz told the BNR about the situation in Adana and the ongoing aftershocks: "In Adana we are calm now, but we are on the street. We cannot enter the houses because the tremors continue.
