Bulgaria's Winter Olympic gold became a quarter of a century old

Today marks the 25th anniversary of Bulgaria's greatest achievement at Winter Olympics. The only Olympic gold medal for Bulgaria from the Winter Olympic Games was won by Ekaterina Dafovska in the biathlon in 1998 in Nagano, Japan.

Dafovska is the most successful Bulgarian biathlete. In his career, she has an Olympic title, a European title, as well as two bronze medals from world championships.
