Delyan Dobrev (GERB) who was an MP at the 48th National Assembly called for an extraordinary meeting of the parliament.

"As all the parties swear allegiance to the judicial reform and blame each other for its failure, I call on the president, within the scope of his powers, to immediately convene the National Assembly which will enable us to carry out a judicial reform within one week," Dobrev wrote and noted. “Thus, we will see who is for and against such a reform and will avoid plenty of lip-service during the election campaign”, wrote the former Minister of Economy and Energy. Earlier today, Bulgaria’s head of state said that “the 48th National Assembly had dissolved itself out of fear of forming a government and shouldering responsibility”.
