Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev welcomed his Montenegrin counterpart Milo Djukanovic in Alexander Nevsky Square in Sofia. Milo Djukanovic is paying an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of the Bulgarian Head of State. During the official welcoming ceremony, the two presidents paid tribute to the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
The two Presidents will hold a tete-a-tete meeting in Rumen Radev’s office. Rumen Radev and Milo Djukanovic are to discuss regional topics, the European perspective of the Western Balkans, as well as security and energy issues.
Later, plenary talks between the official delegations of Bulgaria and Montenegro will take place. The President of Montenegro will also meet with Bulgaria’s caretaker Premier Galab Donev.
