Eurozone Membership will help raise the standard of living of Bulgarians

In his speech, during the conference "Bulgaria on the Path to the Euro", President Rumen Radev highlighted a number of economic advantages that membership in the currency union bring, with the major goal being that Bulgarians live better lives and our economy be more competitive. The head of state called on parties to abandon populism and work for the accession of this country to the Eurozone.

Before that, at the beginning of the conference, Prime Minister Galab Donev pointed out that joining the Eurozone was a factor that would contribute to Bulgaria becoming richer.
