2,980 is the number of active Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria

25 is the number of new Covid-19 infections registered in the country out of 516 tests performed in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 4.8%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 56% of the new cases of coronavirus infection are among the unvaccinated.

Active cases increased by 23 to 2,980. 9 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day.

242 patients with an established coronavirus infection are being treated in hospital, as 24 are in intensive care units.

No Covid-related deaths have been registered in the past day. 2 people have been reported cured.

No vaccine doses were administered on Sunday.
