Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova visits Moldova

On March 8, Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova is to visit Moldova's capital Chișinău as a member of a European delegation of female representatives of the EU member states in the General Affairs Council. 

The delegation includes nine member states and Liechtenstein. In the framework of the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, the Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Recean and others. The talks will focus on the role of women in politics, the European path of the Republic of Moldova and the support provided to the country, especially in the context of the deteriorated situation stemming from Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
