Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry calls for prompt investigation into the attack on the Bulgarian Cultural Centre in Skopje

Caretaker Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Oliver Spasovski. Minister Demerdzhiev insisted that North Macedonia’s authorities quickly clarify the case pertaining to the attack on the Bulgarian Cultural Information Centre in Skopje. 

The incident took place on the night of March 15 to 16, when unknown perpetrators broke into the building and caused material damage. "This case must be clarified quickly”, Minister Demerdzhiev noted. North Macedonia’s Interior Minister considers the case purely criminal.
