Work is underway on a proposal within the framework of a European directive to compensate for the high price of natural gas in the underground storage facility in Chiren, Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov said.
According to him, the expensive gas is still there. The purpose of the directive is to cover the difference between the price of the pumped gas and the current market price.
