Stefan Manov: a separate constituency for voters abroad would motivate people to vote

Photo: BNR

Between 170,000 and 215,000 Bulgarians will vote abroad in the April 2 parliamentary elections, Stefan Manov from the Public Council of the Central Election Commission told Bulgarian National Television (BNT).
Manov recalled the need for a separate constituency for voters abroad: "This would motivate people to go to the polls. Currently, Bulgarians abroad do not elect MPs, but help to increase the number of seats won. Not a single political proposal is addressed to voters abroad."

According to him, the constituency for voters abroad should have ten MPs in proportion to the voters.
