A tender for operating lease of two helicopters with medical equipment and trained and licensed pilots for HEMS - Helicopter Emergency Medical Services, has been announced today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Hristo Alexiev announced. It is expected that in the middle of the year, Bulgaria will have emergency air assistance. The pilots will most likely be foreign citizens and the medical teams will be from Bulgaria.
