Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, April 3

Precipitation and falling temperatures expected

Overnight it will be mostly clear. There will be light winds, mainly from the west. Minimum temperatures will be between 2°C and 7°C, in Sofia around 2°C.
Tomorrow, April 3, in the morning from the south-southwest will begin a rapid increase in clouds. Rain showers will start from the south around noon. Precipitation will be intense and significant in the afternoon and overnight on Tuesday in western and central Bulgaria. Thunderstorms will occur in places. Hail is also possible. Light to moderate winds will blow from the east-northeast, strengthening in the evening and bringing with it cold air. Maximum temperatures will be between 11°C and 16°C, in Sofia around 11°C.
Clouds, fog and rain are expected in the mountains, with snow above 1500 metres. There will be moderate, strong winds from the east-southeast in the evening. On the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin it will be strong to stormy. The maximum temperature at 1200 m will be about 4°C, at 2000 m - about 0°C.
