Turkey's foreign minister visits Bulgaria

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is visiting Bulgaria, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said. His agenda includes talks with businessmen in Bulgaria. He will also hold meetings with students and representatives of the Turkish minority on the occasion of the holy Muslim holiday of Ramadan.

The Minister visited Kaolinovo on Wednesday, where he laid wreaths and flowers at the Memorial of the victims of the May 1989 events during the so-called Revival process.Thanking for the assistance provided by the municipalities in the region for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey, he also said that he very much hoped that Bulgaria would have a regular government.

 Mr. Çavuşoğlu will also attend the traditional iftar dinner at 7.30 pm, BNR Shumen reports. The iftar will also be attended by Turkey's Ambassador Aylin Sekizkök and Turkey's consul in Burgas Sinem Güzel. Azerbaijan's ambassador Hussein Huseynov is also expected to arrive.

Iftar is the dinner with which Muslims intermit their daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
