Weather forecast for 17 April

A cloudy and rainy Monday

Over the next 24 hours, the weather will be cloudy and rainy. Showers and thundershowers will occur in some places. Minimum temperatures will be between 6°C and 11°C, maximum temperatures between 13°C and 18°C. In Sofia the minimum temperature will be around 7°, the maximum - around 14°C.

Clouds and precipitations are expected over the mountains, above about 1700 m - of snow. The maximum temperature at 1200 m will be about 5°C, at 2000 m - about 2°C.

Along the Black Sea coast the weather will be cloudy, too, with rain showers. Maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 14°C, sea water temperatures - 10°-11°C. 

Over most of the Balkan Peninsula will be cloudy - in many places there will be rain, in some areas accompanied by thunder. The warmest will be in Athens - 21°C, in Istanbul - 18°C, in Bucharest - 17°C. Warm weather is expected in Belgrade and in Thessaloniki - 16° and in Skopje - 15°C. 

Clouds will be considerable over most of the European continent. In the Alps there will be rain and snow showers. The Iberian Peninsula and south-western France will be mostly sunny. It will be 15°C in London and Paris, 14°C in Vienna, 12°C in Berlin, 18°C in Rome and 24°C in Madrid.

Rainy weather is expected in New York with a high of 22°C. It will also rain in Montreal and in Buenos Aires, where temperatures will reach 19°C. It will be sunny in Dubai and Los Angeles where temperatures will reach 29 and 19 degrees respectively. In Chicago, the thermometer will show only 8°C and there will be a light snowfall.
