The Bulgarian National Radio and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences have signed a Memorandum on the basis of which they will cooperate and carry out joint initiatives to promote the academy's scientific activities and research.

The document was signed by the chairman of the BAS academician, Yulian Revalski and the director general of the BNR, Milen Mitev. "We live in a time of over-information," said the head of the BNR, according to whom the mission of the media is to tell more about science and suggested using the resources of the radio to turn scientific books into sound formats.

Academician Revalski pointed out that in recent years the scientists from BAS have prepared nearly 30 publications aimed at our compatriots abroad and through the audio versions these books will reach them more easily.
