Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev pays an official visit to Ukraine and Moldova

Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and Deputy Director of the National Investigation Service Petko Petkov are on an official visit to Moldova and Ukraine, the Prosecutor’s Office said. Ivan Geshev and Petko Petkov are visiting Chisinau and Kyiv at the invitation of Moldova's Prosecutor General Ion Munteanu and Ukraine's Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin. Ivan Geshev is to sign memoranda of cooperation with the chief prosecutors of Moldova and Ukraine.

The talks in Kyiv will focus on methods of investigating war crimes and mechanisms for protecting human rights in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, reads the statement of the Prosecutor’s Office.
