Four thousand eggs to be cooked or cracked at Pavlikeni Egg Festival

4,000 eggs will be cooked or cracked in fun games today in the city park of Pavlikeni, Veliko Tarnovo region, during the tenth edition of the Egg Festival, BNR correspondent Zdravka Masliankova reports

Thousands of residents and visitors gather for the celebration. There will be a cooking competition, where hundreds of omelettes will be prepared, egg-related crafts will be shown, there will be children's art workshops and sports games with prizes for young and old.

The Pavlikeni Zoo will display and hand out boiled eggs from the dozens of bird species it breeds.
