The Bulgarian competitor started out from first position as temporary leader in the first events – fencing and swimming. Excellent shooting and 5x600 m. performance earned him the well-deserved first position and the qualification for the finals. Mihalev’s victory has added to the excellent performance of the Bulgarian national team at the tournament which the country is hosting.
