Contemporary artists turn more and more often to the golden Bulgarian songs to interpret them in a different way and make them sound contemporary. A new, symphonic version of the evergreen "A Bulgarian Rose", with which the unforgettable singer Pasha Hristova won the first prize at the 1970 Golden Orpheus song contest, is now climbing the National Chart for Bulgarian Pop and Rock Music of the Bulgarian National Radio. The song was part of the music repertoire of many Bulgarian and foreign stars over the years. Musicians from “The Singing Artists” project including Margarita Hranova, Militsa Bozhinova, Jaklin Tarakci, Orlin Goranov, Orlin Pavlov and Darin Angelov recorded the new version of the piece “A Bulgarian Rose”.
George Miltiyadoff arranged the song. Ninety five-year-old Nayden Valchev who authored the lyrics to the song participates in the video. Dimitar Valchev wrote the music.
