Bulgaria’s Ministry of the Interior has taken action to obtain all information concerning the murder of Krasimir Kamenov a.k.a Kuro, his wife and two other individuals in the Republic of South Africa, said Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev at a briefing.

The authorities in South Africa have stated they will allow a representative of Bulgaria to get acquainted with the course of the investigation on site. Minister Demerdzhiev added that there was a similar murder of a Bulgarian national in South Africa in 2018, referring to Angel (Angelo) Dimov, defendant on charges of credit card fraud, and his wife, and the Interior Ministry is looking for a connection between these events and previous events. “An operation is currently underway on the territory of Bulgaria targeting individuals from the criminal world capable of committing serious crimes. The aim is to establish the connections and the reasons leading up to this crime, to find the perpetrators and the persons who commissioned the killings,” Minister Demerdzhiev said.
