Bulgarian Police detained three people and seized 9 kilograms of heroin near Haskovo. The car with the three detainees was speeding and was intercepted by a patrol. The policemen on duty tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over and a car chase began. During the police chase, one of the passengers threw the drugs out of the car.
Several hours later, the three men were arrested in the towns of Stara Zagora and Karlovo. Later, it became clear that the substance found near the road was heroin.
