Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will visit Austria in the near future. This agreement was reached between him and Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in connection with Vienna's veto on Bulgaria's accession to Schengen, Denkov told journalists after the end of the meeting of European leaders in Brussels. He has also spoken with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, too.

Mr. Rutte has stated that he was more open, but has stressed that Bulgaria must overcome its differences with Austria. "He said that the reports we expect from the Commission were more important for him, so there was no need for visits at the moment. "After the Commission presents its report, let's see what it says inside, I hope you have done your job in terms of adopting the laws," Mr Denkov said, quoting Prime Minister Rutte. The information is by BNR correspondent in Brussels Angelina Piskova.
