May 24, the Day of Bulgarian Culture, is a Bulgarian national doctrine: Justice Minister

For everyone, May 24 is the most organic, the most Bulgarian holiday. The fact that the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius and their students made their contribution to the European cultural and spiritual history is very important in the time we live in, said Bulgaria's Justice Minister Atanas Slavov to the BNR.

After "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" demanded that May 24 be entered into the Constitution as a national holiday, Slavov commented that "we are putting in, so to speak, the national doctrine of the country as part of the Constitution. We recognize at the constitutional level something that all of us as Bulgarians have known since the first years of our socialization. It is important that these values be brought to the constitutional level," Slavov pointed out.
