When asked "What makes you ashamed of being Bulgarian?", 17.1% of the polled refer to politicians. According to the survey, 14% of Bulgarians are not proud of their origin.

Approval of Bulgaria’s EU membership decreased by 11.4% to 51.6%. 56.5% of the respondents disapprove of the country’s accession to the Eurozone.
