Two Bulgarian players top individual rankings at U19 world volleyball championships

Simeon Nikolov, 16, captain of the Bulgarian U19 national volleyball team has been ranked first among the setters (195) at the world championships San Juan, Argentina. The son of one of Bulgaria’s most successful volleyballers, Vlado Nikolov, also tops the rankings for best server (28). Kristian Titrisyki is best scorer, with 161 points.

The Bulgarian team came 5th at the championship, after defeating Belgium.
