Eva Velikova is the first Bulgarian woman to descend the world’s tallest waterfall

Eva Velikova is the first Bulgarian woman to descend the world’s tallest waterfall – Angel Falls (Salto Ángel). The whole adventure took neraly 2 weeks in November 2022. Angel Falls is the world’s tallest uninterrupted waterfall, with a total eight of 1,054 meters and a plunge of 807 meters. It is located on Kerep River in Venezuela. The waterfall can be reached by river in 24 hours. Often, however, the enthusiasm of tourists fades after seeing the majestic Angel Falls shrouded in dense clouds and water vapor.


However, Burgas-born Eva Velikova does not baulk at the challenges of nature, as she has been used to travelling to different parts of the world since she was very young. After Angel Falls, Eva Velikova’s next exciting adventure was a trip with a campervan and a group of friends to the world’s northernmost place- Svalbard (Norway).
