Tsarevo Municipality announced a campaign to recruit volunteers after the recent floods. The municipality urges anyone who wants to help to call 0590 5 50 18. Alerts can also be issued at the same number.

Drainage of flooded buildings in Tsarevo continues. All persons in distress in the municipality have been assisted. Volunteers are working on the spot in the villages of Kosti and Lozenets to help clean up the settlements. Volunteers are also sent to other critical points, the Crisis Headquarters reported.

The Tsarevo - Sinemorets road remains closed to traffic due to a flooded bridge. A section of the Sinemorets – Rezovo road is also flooded.

The situation on the national roads in the Burgas region has normalized, Engineer Mitko Poryazov, Director of the Regional Road Administration Burgas, said for bTV.

Emergency groups were formed, which cleaned and took steps so that water drained faster from critical areas near overflowing rivers. Today, the sediments on the roadway of the drained sections will be cleaned.
