42 parties and 8 coalitions have so far submitted documents for participation in the local election. 24 partiers and 3 coalitions have been registered, the voter signatures and accompanying papers of the remaining parties and coalitions are being verified.
The registration will end on 13 September, said Central Election Commission spokesperson Rositsa Mateva.
