A draft decision prepared by PP- DB, GERB and MRF envisages that after September 15, 2023, Bulgaria should not support the continuation of the emergency measure banning imports of wheat, corn, rapeseed and sunflower seeds from Ukraine into Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia . The National Association of Grain Producers expressed indignation at the filed decision and pointed out that "lifting the ban on imports from Ukraine is the fastest and surest way toward destroying native agriculture".
