Beloslava Krasteva takes the lead at the World Junior Chess Championship

Beloslava Krasteva defeated Roxangel Obregon Garcia (Cuba) in the 9th round of the 2023 FIDE World Junior Chess Championship in Mexico City. Krasteva played with the white pieces. Two rounds before the end of the competition the Bulgarian chess player took the lead in the standings with 7.5 points. In round No 10 Beloslava Krasteva will play against Miaoyi Lu (China) who has 7 points.
