14 days after the beginning of the roadblocks of the Trakia highway and the Pass of the Republic, miners and energy workers ended their protest, although they did not achieve their demand, namely that the territorial plans for the coal regions in connection with the green transition be withdrawn from the European institutions. The protesters thanked everyone who had supported them, put away their tents and cleared the way.

Vehicular traffic will be restored within hours after necessary road checks by law enforcement agencies.
