Measures are being taken to prevent the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from finding a collateral manifestation of support for one of the two sides on our territory, said Minister of Defence Todor Tagarev in an interview with Nova TV.

“In this respect, vigilance has been enhanced, as it has been in other European countries,” he added. At this time there are no indications of any collateral manifestations on our territory, but the services are monitoring the processes closely. “There is no direct threat to Bulgaria,” Minister Tagarev said further and added that in practice, there is no likelihood of any increase in the migrant flows towards Bulgaria.

Minister Tagarev described what is happening in Israel as “an act of massive terrorism against a democratic country.”
