Lonely Planet includes Bulgaria in its Best in Travel destinations in 2024

The popular tourist guide Lonely Planet has included Bulgaria in its Best in Travel in 2024 list with the Danube Limes:

“The string of settlements on the ancient limits of the Roman Empire known as the Danube Limes has been nominated for inclusion on the Unesco World Heritage list in 2024, so expect visitor numbers to increase. Go in April before the summer heat hits, and explore part of the 460-mile Dunav Ultra cycling path, which follows the Danube through Bulgaria all the way to the Black Sea,” Lonely Planet writes.
