Grigor Dimitrov reaches the final of the ATP Paris Masters

The Bulgarian world tennis star Grigor Dimitrov defeated 6:3, 6:7(1), 7:6(3) Stefanos Tsitsipas, the sixth in the world, in the semi-finals of the last ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the year in Paris and qualified for the final.

The match got off to a great start for Grigor, who won 12 of the opening 14 points in the match, allowing him to lead with a break and a 3:0 game lead. In the final third of the match, both won their first service games and by the end of the match both demonstrated excellent play.

Dimitrov was flawless in the tiebreak, winning the first 5 games. Tsitsipas won two games, but only postponed his elimination from the tournament after 2:31 hours of play. Dimitrov won his first tiebreak against this opponent.

In the final, Grigor Dimitrov will compete against either world No. 1 Novak Djokovic or Andrey Rublev of Russia. 

It will be the second Masters 1000 final in Dimitrov's career so far.
