Sofia is hosting jubilee events related to the 110th anniversary of the Union of Bulgarian Writers - the oldest writers' organization in Europe. The solemn celebrations are held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.

On November 15, the exhibition "110 years of the Union of Bulgarian Writers" will be unveiled in the City Garden in front of the Ivan Vazov National Theater. On the same day, a recital of the poets whose works are included in the poetry anthology "Sofia - The Gold of Words", published by the "Bulgarian Writer" Publishing House, is also taking place.

On November 16, the celebrations will continue with a seminar with the participation of writers from Bulgaria and abroad on the topic "International Trajectories of Bulgarian Literature", as the culmination will be the solemn celebration in the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club in central Sofia.
