The Bulgarian Parliament has adopted amendments to the Law on the Control of Restrictive Measures against Russia, which transfers the energy contributions for the transit of natural gas of Russian origin to the users of the service, in this case - Gazprom, as the money will be collected by the Customs Agency and the NRA.
The amendment, adopted with the votes of GERB-SDS, PP-DB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, corrects the decision of the parliament adopted on April 13, according to which the fee was paid by the operator of the gas transmission network "Bulgartransgaz".
According to the importers of the bill, the aim is avoiding risks for the financial situation of the transmission network operator. The opposition warned that Bulgaria is threatened by international sanctions due to the fee of BGN 20 /10.23 EUR/ per megawatt hour for transit transmission.
