Bulgaria and four other countries want European aid for farmers to continue in 2024

A meeting of the five member states most affected by Ukrainian imports - Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, is upcoming, Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev said.

Representatives of the Member States will insist on new support schemes next year because of the negative impact of the war in Ukraine, BNR correspondent in Brussels Angelina Piskova has reported.

Minister Kiril Vatev is in Brussels, where he is participating in a meeting of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council.
