Bulgarian Christmas charity campaign to close with solemn concert tonight

On December 25, at 8:00 p.m., the traditional charity show "Bulgarian Christmas" will take place. The initiative, whose goal is to raise funds for sick Bulgarian children, is being held for the 21st year in a row under the patronage of the Bulgarian head of state. 

The event will be attended by President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva. 

This year's edition of The Bulgarian Christmas campaign is in support of children's surgery. 

Prominent Bulgarian musicians will support the charity initiative to help children in need with their participation in the concert. 

Citizens can support the cause by sending a charitable SMS worth BGN 1 to the number 1117.

The Bulgarian Christmas campaign was launched on the intiative of President Georgi Parvanov in 2003, as the first charity performance was held on December 25, 2004.
