Weather forecast for 11 January

Winter sun and cold weather

On Thursday, minimum temperatures will be between minus 9 and minus 4°C, in Sofia - minus 7°C. In the morning, foggy conditions and low clouds will prevail along the Danube and in the higher areas. During the day it will be sunny and cold. Maximum temperatures will be between 0 and 5°C, in the capital - 1°C.

The sun will shine over the Black Sea coast, where there will be moderate northwesterly winds. Air temperatures will be between 3 and 6°C. Water temperatures will be 8-9°C. The sea swell will be 2-3. 

There will be sunshine over the mountains. The wind will be moderate and will be coming from the north west. The temperature at 1,200 m will be 1°C, at 2,000 m minus 5°. 

Cold weather is forecast for Friday. On Saturday, minimum temperatures will drop to minus 10°C in places and daytime temperatures will be around freezing.
