Grain producers are ready for protests, it transpired after a meeting of the Board of the National Association of Grain Growers. In a statement, they highlight the difficult situation the sector is facing and the need to take timely measures for its survival.
The sector demands that the five main crops - wheat, barley, corn, sunflower and rapeseed - be included in the program "Aid to support the liquidity of farmers to overcome the negative economic impact of the Russian aggression against Ukraine" in 2024.
