Rose oil, wines, unforgettable spa and wellness experience and centuries of history. This is how 17 Bulgarian companies and municipalities participating at one of the world's largest tourism exhibitions, FITUR 2024, presented the country. FITUR 2024 kicked off on Wednesday in the Spanish capital Madrid. The Bulgarian pavilion offers tastings of white and red wine and provides information about its history and origin. Spaniard Jesús Manso who owns a travel agency and brings his clients only to Bulgaria, joined the pavilion on the first day of the exhibition (January 24).

At the forum, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Zaritsa Dinkova talked with counterparts from the EU. She invited the ministers of tourism of Italy, Spain and Greece to visit Sofia in early summer. ''Bulgaria attracts tourists from Spain and Italy with good air connectivity, common historical past and character. Italians are particularly interested in spa offers in Bulgaria'', said Minister Dinkova.
