The Ministry of the Interior has data that the murdered Martin Bozhanov aka the Notary whose name is associated with various criminal acts, sent threats not only to judges, but also to prosecutors, reported the chief secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Zhivko Kotsev. He also said the interior ministry would investigate allegations that Bozhanov was the owner of a private club for magistrates.

"The subject of verification is how long the club functioned, and the detail that it was visited only by a certain circle of persons with membership cards will be clarified," said the chief secretary. It became clear from his statement that Martin Bozhanov's telephone sets will be given to a partner service for analysis.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Corruption Fund foundation, which in an investigation in 2021 highlighted the illegal activity of the murdered man, called on a parliamentary commission to verify the facts and circumstances surrounding the group he led. According to the non-governmental organization, what was presented in the days after the Notary's death gives rise to reasonable doubts about an umbrella over his activities by institutions and therefore needs a complete clarification.
