Aleksandar Asenov wins two medals at the 2024 Virtus World Indoor Athletics Championship in Reims

Aleksandar Asenov won the title in the men‘s 200m sprint at the World Indoor Athletic Championships for persons with intellectual Impairment in Reims, France. Nicolas Virapin (France) claimed the silver medal.

On Friday, Asenov won a silver medal in the triathlon.

At the age of only 16, Asenov is already among the world elite of track and field athletes with Down Syndrome.
