Artistic gymnast Valentina Georgieva earns a quota for the Summer Olympics in Paris

Bulgarian artistic gymnast Valentina Georgieva won the gold medal in the vault final of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku (Azerbaijan). Thus, she earned a quota for the Summer Olympics in Paris, although official confirmation from the International Gymnastics Federation is still pending.

This is Georgieva’s third competition after her knee injury on August 14, 2022. She previously won silver medals at the World Cups in Cairo (Egypt) and Cottbus (Germany). Kevin Penev also earned an Olympic quota.
