Films from 6 continents screened at Sofia Film Fest

“Open the doors to world cinema!”. This is the motto of the 28th Sofia International Film Festival, taking place in the Bulgarian capital city March 13-31.

The festival programme includes 143 feature, documentary and animated films from 53 countries on 6 continents. The official opening ceremony is in Hall No. 1 of the National Palace of Culture tonight. One of the most prominent guests to the film forum is legendary German filmmaker Margarethe von Trotta who will present her latest film Ingeborg Bachmann - Journey into the Desert, and hold a special masterclass.
